Jamie and Scott, Married!!!
Hello readers!
First of all, apologies for the LONG hiatus from my blog – I was traveling to India and immediately after my vacation, I moved to my new home in New Haven, CT. I’m so excited about the move and the new journey that life is taking me on! BUUUT, things have been crazy as you can imagine, and this has left little time for photo editing and even less time for blogging
So expect a frenzy of posts in the next few weeks as I catch up on my queue!
So, a few months ago, I mentioned that I auditioned (and was hired!!) for a second-shooter position with Nitchie Photography (check out that blog post HERE) – Up next is the wedding of Jamie and Scott that I shot with the fabulous Katie Nitchie earlier this summer! Thank you, Katie, for this opportunity
Jamie and Scott got married in late May at the Foster Pavillion at the Boston Harbor Hotel in downtown Boston. It was a fabulous day for this fabulous couple to tie the knot!
However, the day began at the Radisson Hotel, where Jamie and her ladies were getting ready ….

Then, it was on to the ceremony! the venue was perfect for Jamie and Scott’s intimate wedding. One of my favorite parts was when Jamie and Scott chose to read their own vows – you could definitely feel the love in their words and how they expressed themselves!
After the ceremony, Katie and I stole the newlyweds away for a few portraits before the reception
And here are a couple of my favs from reception to round out the evening – this crowd was SO much fun to be around!
CONGRATULATIONS Jamie and Scott, and thank you for letting me be part of your day – you guys are awesome! and THANKS Katie for the opportunity!
And, please check out the rest of the gallery on my FLICKR page!

These are awesome!! Love the macros, especially.
I like all of these! But especially the one with the crucifix in the flowers. I think you did an amazing job at capturing the bride’s excitement and happiness, too.
Great capture of him putting on the ring!
Wow. Just, WOW! Nithya, honestly I hate sounding like a broken record but you really are getting better with each shoot. Exponentially! It’s amazing how you’ve learned to work the lighting to your favor, but technicality aside I love how you managed to get genuine expressions of joy or tenderness yet still have a perfectly framed unposed for shot (like her over the shoulder look or the one where they are dancing.) You’ve got an eye!
Great Job! Keep it up.
