Kristin and Kevin…Married!

From the moment we walked in to meet the Kristin and her bridal party, the excitement was palpable. It was clear that family and friends loved Kristin and Kevin dearly, and this was a much-anticipated wedding – Kristin and Kevin were middle school sweethearts and were finally tying the knot! I’m so glad i got to tag along with Katie of Nitchie Photography

Kristin was such a sweet bride – absolutely gorgeous!

While Katie spent some time with Kristin and her bridesmaids, I got to spend time with Kevin and his entourage. They were such a fun group!

The ceremony was closed for photography, but we managed to grab some quick shots at the very end

Diana and Greg’s Wedding!

In the spirit of catching up, today I’m featuring the wedding of Diana and Greg! I shot this wedding with the amazing Shang of Shang Chen Photography last spring!

Diana and Greg have a special connection to MIT, so they chose to get married at the MIT Faculty Club – a fabulous venue with a great view of the Boston skyline!

Jamie and Scott, Married!!!

Hello readers!

First of all, apologies for the LONG hiatus from my blog – I was traveling to India and immediately after my vacation, I moved to my new home in New Haven, CT. I’m so excited about the move and the new journey that life is taking me on! BUUUT, things have been crazy as you can imagine, and this has left little time for photo editing and even less time for blogging 🙂  So expect a frenzy of posts in the next few weeks as I catch up on my queue!

So, a few months ago, I mentioned that I auditioned (and was hired!!) for a second-shooter position with Nitchie Photography (check out that blog post HERE) – Up next is the wedding of Jamie and Scott that I shot with the fabulous Katie Nitchie earlier this summer! Thank you, Katie, for this opportunity

Jamie and Scott got married in late May at the Foster Pavillion at the Boston Harbor Hotel in downtown Boston. It was a fabulous day for this fabulous couple to tie the knot!

However, the day began at the Radisson Hotel, where Jamie and her ladies were getting ready ….

Then, it was on to the ceremony! the venue was perfect for Jamie and Scott’s intimate wedding. One of my favorite parts was when Jamie and Scott chose to read their own vows – you could definitely feel the love in their words and how they expressed themselves!

After the ceremony, Katie and I stole the newlyweds away for a few portraits before the reception

Susan and Gary…Married!

Way back last year, when I first began exploring photography, I assisted Alex of Jarige Photography with an engagement shoot for Susan and Gary. It was my first time participating in an official “photoshoot,” and I was so thrilled to be tagging along! And they were such a fabulous couple to work with.

SO, you can imagine how excited I was when Alex called me a few weeks ago and told me that Susan and Gary had agreed to let me shadow/assist her during their wedding!!

The wedding was held at the beautiful Lanam Club out in Andover MA (I’m getting to explore so much more of Boston/MA since I got into photograhy!!), and we had an absolute gorgeous day for the occasion.

Susan had her mother and a friend helping her get dressed! and of course, her dress was absolutely gorgeous

Susan and Gary decided to do a “First Look” – this is where the Bride and Groom choose to see each other before the ceremony, giving them the opportunity to spend a few precious moments together before the events of the day and connect before the wedding. I’ve come to realize how important these few moments can be – often, a wedding day is so filled with people and activities, that these few moments may very well be the only quiet moments that the Bride and Groom get to spend with one another throughout the day! It was beautiful to see how much Susan and Gary cared about one another and what this day meant to them!

The ceremony was held outdoors in the courtyard, and was the perfect location for the small, intimate gathering of close family and friends.
